General Privacy
The charity bylaws protect confidentiality. The organisation does not share, trade, sell or otherwise divulge its mailing list. Members’ identities are kept in confidence, as are the identities of prospective members who have contacted the organisation. E-mail addresses and phone numbers are kept for in-house convenience only.
What personal information do we collect and hold?
We may collect the following types of personal information:

We collect personal information about you so that we can perform our business activities and functions and to provide service as listed in the programs we have established.
We collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information for the following purposes: to provide services to you and to send communications requested by you;
- to answer enquiries and provide information or advice about existing and new services;
- to conduct operational functions including providing personal information to our related bodies service providers.
- for the administrative, planning, service development and research purposes for Faithless HIjabi’s board in order to expand our programs or identify areas of improvement.
- to update our records and keep your contact details up to date;
- to process and respond to any complaint made by you;
The Organisation uses industry standard security measures to protect the personal data of its members. While such security measures provide reasonable protections against unauthorized access, they provide no guarantee that the personal data will not be compromised.
Website privacy
This Privacy Policy describes the current policies and practices of Faithless Hijabi with regard to Personal Data collected by Faithless Hijabi through its website, Faithless Hijabi.org. The term “Personal Data” refers to personally identifiable information about you, such as your full name, birth date, e-mail address or mailing address, phone number and any other information that can be used to identify or contact you. This Privacy Policy is periodically updated. Please check back on a regular basis for any changes.
Personal Data Collected.
The only Personal Data Faithless Hijabi currently collects is through the FaithlessHijabi.org website and the Google Form sent by Faithless Hijabi team that is voluntarily provided to Faithless Hijabi by users.
Non-Personal Data Collected.
Other data that does not qualify as Personal Data because it cannot be used to contact or identify Users (“Non-Personal Data”) may also be automatically collected about the user. For example, Faithless Hijabi may use technology to automatically collect Non-Personal Data about the use of Faithless Hijabi Website. This technology is used to track how many users access the Faithless Hijabi Website, the date and time of their visits, the length of their stays, and which pages they view. Faithless Hijabi may also use technology to determine which web browsers users use and the address from which they accessed the Website. The information collected using this technology does not identify any user personally and is thus all Non-Personal Data that simply enables Faithless Hijabi to compile statistics about users and their use of the Faithless Hijabi Website. Faithless Hijabi may disclose Personal Data to third parties under certain limited circumstances. Faithless Hijabi may disclose Personal Data to third parties if a user has requested that Faithless Hijabi do so. Faithless Hijabi may also disclose your email address, at your request to refer you to therapists within our network.
Security Measures.
Faithless Hijabi uses industry standard security measures to protect your Personal Data. All data collected through end-user input forms, such as the membership sign-up, goes through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). SSL establishes an encrypted link between the browser and Faithless Hijabi’s web server, rather than sending the data in plain text, so that those data are not vulnerable to being intercepted and used by an attacker. Faithless Hijabi’s website also has a web application firewall, including the administrative portion of the site. This helps prevent the site from being hacked and allowing hackers to gain access to users’ personal information. All credit card information is transmitted directly to the payment processor and not stored by Faithless Hijabi in any way. This Privacy Policy applies only to Personal Data collected on the Faithless Hijabi Website and Google forms sent and created by Faithless Hijabi. The Faithless Hijabi Website may contain hyperlinks to websites that are not operated by Faithless Hijabi.
